If you work in healthcare, the latest buzz is the recently-announced Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Center Healthcare Innovations Challenge funding opportunity. These cooperative agreements will be awarded on a large scale, with an overall goal of workforce preparedness and cost savings to CMS. If you want to apply, you need to get started now - letters of intent are due 12/19.

What a mess this one is going to be. It seems like every healthcare facility in our area submitted multiple vague LOIs just to hold a place in line.
