It is great to see that the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH) already has an active trial to examine the mental health impacts of the pandemic. The required social isolation is impacting everyone, and it is probably even more difficult for those who are managing anxiety, depression, and related conditions.
This is the time for researchers from all disciplines to come together and collaborate to identify a vaccine and an optimal treatment for COVID-19. Thank you to everyone who is part of these efforts, and to the clinicians on the front lines.
