New year, new you, new grants!

Happy 2021!  We made it out of 2020! Hopefully the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be behind us. Although the year has not been off to the best start, the beginning of the year is a great time to set new goals.  For some people, this might include giving up junk food and starting a healthy diet or vowing to exercise more often.  For others, it might include a plan to wear pants that have actual buttons on workdays instead of spending all day on Zoom calls wearing business shirts with sweatpants (OK, that might be my New Year's resolution).

Your planning should include mapping out your grant funding strategy for the year.  If you are seeking a K-series award or maybe have your eye on getting your first R01, be sure to bookmark the NIH Find Funding page. Then spend some time searching the page to identify the funding opportunities you want to target in the coming months. New funding opportunities are released often, so make a note to check the site at least monthly.
